Devotions

Each day I set aside some time for devotions.  I pick an animal that we would see in the park and relate the characteristics of that animal to similar characters from the Bible that portray similar behaviors.  We talk about the similarities between the two, and then I ask "how can we apply this to our every day lives?"  We end with a short time of sharing and prayer.

Baptisms

After trusting in Christ, it is important to follow His leadership and example regarding baptism.  On our Wild West Adventure, we set aside a time to conduct baptisms in Jackson Lake, Wyoming.  I will meet with each person wanting to be baptized before the trip and discuss their personal story and how they trusted in Christ.  I also want to make sure that each person understands what baptism is and what it is not.  Jackson Lake is a great place to be baptized with family and friends.

Community

By traveling together for 8 days and 7 nights in God's country our families get to know each other very quickly. The children make new friends and we are all brought together through meals, hikes, games at night, and sitting around the campfire. By seeing what God has created in these two wonderful National Parks and enjoying this with your new found friends is a trip you will never forget.
